Kara loves sustainability.
I was hired at BJG at the end of 2003 as an intern while still going to school and soon moved up to a full time a structural designer. During my time at BJG, I have accomplished many things including graduating from the University of Nevada-Reno with my bachelor’s of science degree in Civil Engineering, obtaining my Civil Engineering License in California, and becoming a LEED® AP. I am passionate about the environment and am proud to say some call me the “tree hugger of BJG”, as I compost our coffee grounds from work and always strive to find new ways to be more environmentally friendly.
