Our Green Team Meeting Sustainably
BJG started a Green Team in 2007 to green our company from the inside out. This created an official team to move forward the internal sustainability initiatives that were already underway. The team has implemented a re-haul of our purchasing including letterhead made from 100% post consumer recycled content, they oversee office waste recycling, as well as an office composting program. We are doing our part to reduce our impact on the world.
One of our greenies, Teresa, gave a presentation at a recent Sustainable Silicon Valley event entitled “The Architecture of Green Teams”. She was on a panel with other green team leaders from other leading companies such as eBay and Genentech. BJG represented the small company aspect.
In addition to our Green Team successes the Pleasanton office of BJG is proud to be a Certified Green Business through the State of California and County Green Business Program!
